There comes a point in every fox’s life where in the midst of the monotony of middle aged life working a desk job and raising a family he yearns for something more exciting. Mr. Fox is a relatable guy (who happens to be a fox) trying to relive the glory days of stealing poultry from farmers. Sort of like Ocean’s 11 meets Shrek, The Fantastic Mr. Fox has all the excitement (and cute cartoon animals) you’d expect in a kid’s movie as well as complex issues and smart jokes for adults… not to mention a first-rate voice cast including George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Owen Wilson and Bill Murray.
