On the surface, Ted is a movie about a grown ass man with a best friend that’s a talking teddy bear. It was written, directed and voiced by Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy. The movie starts with a bunch of kids beating up a ginger in the middle of the street around Christmas time. Inside 10 minutes, Mark Wahlberg and the teddy bear version of Peter Griffin are ripping bongs, crashing cars into shit and making fun of Mila Kunis. We were skeptical at first too, but this movie is actually pretty freaking hilarious. If you haven’t seen it yet, you need to.
