Super 8

Super 8

We’re just going to put this out there: If J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg sat down and decided to direct and produce episodes of The Golden Girls we would watch them. When one of these guys decides to take on a project, even if it’s only a remake, ridiculous things happen. It only makes sense then that a collab project between the two of them would end up more Star Trek than War of the Worlds in terms of quality. Super 8 is Abram’s tribute to all things classically Spielberg and plays out like E.T. meets everyone’s favorite dinosaur movie. Six friends making a movie witness a train crash and learn something escaped in the process. We’d ruin the rest of it if we said any more so you’re just going to have to pick it up and watch it yourself.
