If we had to guess Rocco Malatesta’s greatest passions in life, we’d go with: Smart design, macho cinema and human hands. We’re all on board for two of those three, but the hand thing is a little disconcerting and might be a tad odd in person (we’re picturing a sensual handshake). The German designer creates prints based on movies like Rocky, Scarface and Gran Torino (we actually featured his poster for A Bronx Tale in this post) along with some for well-known people (like Jesus), many of which happen to showcase a hand. So, whether you share Rocco’s love of beautiful illustration and graphic design, or you happen to have an appendage fetish as well, these posters will make nice company for your walls.
