Pacific Rim Special Edition DVD

Pacific Rim Special Edition DVD

Do you remember the 80s B movie Robot Jox? Pacific Rim is kind of like that, except it looks a whole helluva lot better, the giant robots are battling aliens that came through a trench in the ocean instead of each other and, oh yeah, Guillermo Del Toro. Having giant robots in common with an awesomely campy 80s action movie isn’t a bad place to start, but Del Toro, Hunnam, Elba, Perlman and Day take this film to places that would leave Michael Bay in awe like everyone else is in awe when they watch a Michael Bay explosion. At it’s core, it’s about giant robots fighting giant aliens, and that’s enough of a reason to see it in the first place.
