Monocle has been doing everything from books on good business to bracelets for as long as we’ve been doing this, and the results are always excellent. Their latest release is a collection of guide books in collaboration with Gestalten that are presented in full color, hardcover, and with close to 150 pages of details. The initial releases, London and New York, are definitive travel guides for two of our favorite worldly outposts that will make you feel like a local in a foreign land. Each book covers local spots (restaurants, bars, shops, music venues and museums) that you probably won’t find on any Internet best-of list.
