Geoff Moore is an LA-based photographer and director that’s worked with everyone from GQ and Coach to MTV and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. In 2007, he was commissioned by the Estate of Kurt Cobain to document the treasures of one of the most famous members of the 27 Club. Moore got a chance to photograph the actual heart-shaped box, a number of guitars, tapes, tchotchkes and notebooks in order to create Endorsement, the Unseen Cobain Photos, which debuts February 11 at KM Fine Arts in LA. The collection is equal parts peculiar, interesting, inspiring and, fittingly enough, Cobain-esque in the feeling that there’s so much more to what you’re getting than what you understand.
