Sydney-based architect and designer Eric Ng has spent the last few years paring down his impressive sneaker collection and, in the process, documenting his favorites with a series of miniature paintings that capture his favorites in stunning yet small detail. The entire project was dubbed “Sneaker Eulogy” and quickly turned from collection of impressive works, into gallery exhibition and now, finally, has been turned into a book of the same name. Sneaker Eulogy “is an autobiographical album of iconic designs–a tribute to the culture–whether it’s the Nike Air Yeezy II, the New Balance 990 v5, or the Air Dior, Ng’s paintings reveal how every sneaker asserts a distinct personality.” If you’re a fan of sneakers and the way they relate to style, art or commerce, Sneaker Eulogy is a book you’ll want in your collection. The book version of Sneaker Eulogy measures just under 8″ by just over 10″, includes almost 100 pages of artwork and is limited to just 300 copies.
