Never has there been a book that we’ve wanted to rip so many pages out of and plaster on our walls (sans: How to Make Love Like a Porn star by Jenna Jameson). Crazy 4 Cult: Cult Movie Art delves deep into the history of the Crazy 4 Cult art show which has attracted the best-of-the-best in pop art to create works based on cult movies. And, when we say “cult movies” we mean basically everything we like to watch. This book shows off some of the best work from the first four years; stuff based on The Big Lebowski, Donnie Darko, Clerks and lots more. It’s fittingly intro’d by Kevin Smith and then goes on for 170-odd pages of artistic euphoria. We might not be able to afford the actual art like J.J. Abrams and Judd Apatow but this read is just about the next best thing.
