The Smoking Gun

The Smoking Gun

No this is not a post about the website of hilariously awesome mugshots, this is about our favorite new kitchen toy. The Smoking Gun is a hand-held food smoker that, unlike most pieces of modern cooking equipment (hello giant sous vide bath), we don’t need to drop a fortune to own (and unlike the aforementioned website, contains zero Lindsay Lohan). For the cost of a short-stack of blu-rays, you can start adding a delicious, smoky taste to some rustic dishes you churn out. Use different wood chips to get that down home BBQ flavor you crave from September till mid-Spring or go all El Bulli on your dinner and use something more creative like tea leaves, spices or dried flowers. Our only wish was that it could somehow be stored in a holster so we could carry it around all day.
