The inspiration for The Black Book of Cards is the idea that every person is born with a card that describes their personality, kind of like a zodiac sign. While that is interesting and all, we dig The Black Book of Cards because they’re mighty fine-looking. By using sharp typography and a good eye for design, the folks behind The Black Book of Cards created a deck that is stylish and masculine. Each card sports different descriptive personality terms winding their way around to make a pattern of the face on a face card. Included is a “book” holster and a chart card so you can find the card in the deck that corresponds with your birthday. Hopefully yours is the one that says “lucky” and “wealthy from poker.”
