Speaking from personal experience, Monopoly is is one of the greatest board games of all time–despite the fact it ruins relationships and seems to go on forever. Hasbro is doubling down on those features with Monopoly’s ‘Longest Game Ever’ Edition. This version of the game features a total of 66 properties–38 more than original version–a single die, no auctions, mandated Free Parking payments, perforated bills that can be torn for smaller sums, an optional nap time for spaced out playing times and, most importantly, a new win condition that requires the winner to own every single piece of property before being declared the victor. It plays much like the original version of the game that has ruined more family relationships than we care to think about, except there are more times around the board and an even more absurd win condition. It’s the game you grew up playing except it’s taken to the Nth degree of ridiculousness.
