While there are plenty of reasonable arguments that could be made about the latest Dark Knight iteration that was “The Batman,” Matt Reeves’ version that was realized on screen by Robert Pattinson could most definitely not be faulted for the presentation of the Batmobile. It was crude, surreal, sculptural and the perfect departure of form from previous clean-cut versions… which is why this version was primed for LEGO recreation after the fact. More appropriately, it’s in no way about the four-wheeled mobile and all the more about the two-wheeled cycle. The LEGO version of The Batman–Batcycle includes plastic peg versions of the clip-on handlebars, quad-pipe exhaust, and other 1:1 scale pieces. Most importantly, it will be available for purchase for all the rest of us starting on March 1st at the link below.
