Iron Smoke Whiskey

Iron Smoke Whiskey

Even though we haven’t tried Iron Smoke Whiskey (yet!), we have no problem recommending it for the following reasons: it has a cool name; the logo is a pipe smoking skull named Skully, and it’s a whiskey you’ve never tried. Those are all good reasons to drink this whiskey, but they’re actually not the most important ones. Each batch of Iron Smoke is handcrafted in upstate New York using ingredients from local, family-owned farms. Once it’s apple wood smoked, the grain is finely milled and mashed, fermented and twice distilled. After all that fun chemistry is complete, it ages in triple charred, virgin American white oak barrels. The final product has a sweet nose and a smooth, full-bodied flavor with notes of oak and an apple wood smoke finish. In other words, it sounds delicious.
