If you were swept up by Dune fever like so many of us last year, you might want to check out the Duna Collection, a series of furniture from Mexico City-based designer Joel Escalona. Escalona was inspired by the natural beauty and movement of sand dunes when designing this collection. You’ll find simple, naturalist movements and textures in his coffee tables, side tables, benches, and more. The Duna Collection was built for living spaces like a lounge or living room, but they function well anywhere. Each piece is intricate and subtle in its construction but put together the collection feels sturdy and whole. Escalona designed the Duna Collection for furniture brand Nono, which will be showcasing the series at the Zonamaco design fair from February 9 to 13 in Mexico City. The collection is also available to be shipped from Nono and prices are available upon request.
