Whether you’re talking about Pabst Blue Ribbon’s new beers for 2019, their PBR Whiskey, or their White Claw-crushing PBR Stronger Seltzer, everyone’s favorite blue ribbon beverage label has been having a big year. Despite those all being great things that we love, in our minds, the best thing they do year after year is the annual Pabst Blue Ribbon Art competition that has allowed to budding or established designers, creatives and artists to throw their hat in the ring in a design competition that will get their work on knows how many millions of PBR cans, along with a prize pool of $10,000 for the winner. The 2020 competition just kicked off, and here’s what you need to know– “The Art Can Contest allows us to literally turn our biggest platform into a blank canvas for an emerging artist. We put original art in the hands of millions every year, and allow our customers to experience incredible art wherever they are enjoying a Pabst Blue Ribbon,” said Andrew Heard, brand manager of art at Pabst Blue Ribbon. “Partnering with Juxtapoz was a no-brainer. They’ve been supporting amazing and overlooked art for over two decades. We’re thrilled they’ve got involved and know their support will be of huge value to our contest winner.” Design submissions are open until January 1st, so get to designing!
