Pabst-Blue-Ribbon-Whiskey

There’s just something alluring about a local watering hole with cheap beer and shot combos that will always have us coming back for more. If you’re the kind of person that wants their whiskey and beer boilermakers to be from the same brand, you’re in luck. Pabst Blue Ribbon Whiskey is real, and it’s coming to a bar near you this summer. Based on what comes in a can of PBR, it should come as absolutely no surprise that this is decidedly not an artisanal spirit. This is 40%, 80 proof pure white dog that the label says has been aged a total of 5 seconds. The mash bill includes 52% corn, 27% malted barley, 17% wheat and 4% rye. According to MiBiz, the new label submitted to the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (which is how news leaked before an official press release) was actually done by New Holland Brewing Co., so it’s pretty much confirmed that they’ll be the ones actually producing the whiskey.

Retro-Video-Game-Puzzle-IF2

We’ve long been obsessed with Things Organized Neatly, the Tumblr, Instagram account, and book that displays collections of items arranged in pleasing ways. It’s the reason we’re hard at work on this puzzle. When finished, the puzzle depicts a collection of retro video games and gaming systems aligned ever so perfectly. Each is made in the USA by the New York Puzzle Company and features original photography from artist Jim Golden. At 1000 pieces, it will put you to work for some time, but when you complete it you can use some puzzle glue and frame it on your wall. Out of chaos comes order, right?
