Much like Scotch tape and Kleenex, Swiss Army knives have become a universal name for an entire category of products. The new Swiza All Black Swiss Army Knives are not, as you might have already guessed, made by Victorinox, but they are iconic as the originals and decidedly Swiss Army in their design and build. The new murdered out collection includes two knives, D01 ALLBLACK and D03 ALLBLACK, with blades forged from a chrome and molybdenum alloy (440/57 HRC stainless) and then coated in a PVD titanium nitride coating. The rest of the knife parts have a highly resistant PTFE coating that adds to the murdered out look. The D01 ALLBLACK includes a blade, reamer/punch, corkscrew and tweezers. The D03 ALLBLACK includes all of those tools along with a can opener and a bottle opener / screwdriver. Either option is a great addition to the EDC—even if you’re one of those guys that doesn’t carry a pocket knife.
