Despite the fact that this looks like some funky windshield scraper, it’s actually a really smart ax. The Vipukirves Axe’s unique design eliminates a few problems you may have encountered while chopping some firewood. First off all, because the bulk of the weight of the ax is toward the back and off to the side, it allows the blade to kind of curve in and down further (think like a lever) resulting in an easier and more efficient chopping process. What this also means is you won’t have to deal with the blade getting caught in the wood like some sort of new stump holster you just acquired. While the price is a bit steep, it is pretty damn sweet.
