But if you leave near water or near flood zones, you might want to think about getting outta dodge with a survival raft. Uncharted has made a packable raft that can fit in your survival pack, blows up using only your lungs, and can handle 400 pounds of semi-panicked human and cargo. Originally designed for military usage, it’s 33″ long fully inflated and weighs a mere 3 pounds. The coated polyurethane fabric is tough and completely seam-sealed to prevent leakage. Use it when things go bad, take it with you for quick fishing jaunts, or just float around waiting for the next cataclysmic occurrence. It’s already blown out it’s goal on Indiegogo, but you can still get in early while the campaign is active.
