Modern Industry took us by surprise with their take on the design of an industrially stylish bag and wallet. Their newest release, the Faraday Totepack, is built of some of the same materials (Martexin 10.10oz waxed army duck, Horween leather, durable hardware) and has the same focus on ethically sourced materials that look good, but the design is a little different because it focuses on the two areas they didn’t touch yet: the tote and the messenger bag. The totepack serves both functions quite well. When your shopping or just out on the town, it’s a perfectly sized tote with the messenger strap stowed in the side stash pocket. When you have to get on the bike, or your hands are just tired, the handles fold down and it’s a messenger bag. In both configurations, up to a 15″ laptop fits perfectly. There’s also one interior pocket to keep all your essentials within arm’s reach. Two bags, one price.
