Kyberlight Lightsabers Are Built for Combat

Whether you’re a kid or a kid at heart, lightsabers are cool. As much as we like watching the battles on screen, it’s far more fun to actually participate. Enter Kyberlight, the Kickstarted company from engineers and self-proclaimed Star Wars obsessives that builds custom lightsabers ready for real world battles. Each Kyberlight saber has a custom machined aircraft grade aluminum hilt that can be customized with a number of different accessories to create a truly unique saber, but it’s the “blade” of the saber that makes the Kyberlight option better than any other in the galaxy (except for maybe the ones from a Star Wars set). The blade is made from a proprietary plastic and lights up in one of twenty different colors, ranging from the traditional red, blue and green to yellow and purple using proprietary LED technology. The lightsaber is also outfitted with a custom sound board and rich quality sound effects because no real lightsaber battle is complete without the noises. We’re not saying that you should plan on being a Jedi or a Sith Lord for Halloween this year just so you have a reason to buy a lightsaber, but it would be a great way to rationalize the purchase.
