When luggage got the universal upgrade from standard, fixed wheels to multi-directional spinner wheels it was a big deal. Heys has taken their new Stealth series of luggage even further with a mechanism built into each of the wheels that makes them retractable. Initially it might seem like adding four more moving parts to something that constantly gets thrown around is a bad idea, but each of the wheel mechanisms is made from aircraft aluminum and designed to tuck up next to the polycarbonate shell to prevent breakage. In addition to saving yourself the agony of dragging a broken suitcase through the airport, this new design also opens up the space between the wheels for storage of additional bottles of wine/beer clothing.
