From fun tops to ingenious key carrying devices, J.L. Lawson makes some of the coolest pieces of EDC gear that you didn’t know you had to have in your collection. After the success of the True North Spin Coin, they set out to create another coin that would decide that age old bar question of who’s paying for the next round. The J.L. Lawson Tempus Spin Coin was born. Available in bronze, copper or .999 silver, the Tempus Spin Coin is the next piece of necessary EDC gear for decision making, fidgeting and time-killing throughout the day. Each side of the coin is emblazoned with different artwork that’s been rendered beautifully through a painstaking process involving manual labor and vintage machines. The top is a modified version of their popular bandana art “time is running out,” and features a skeleton hand pointing to the desired outcome. The bottom of the coin is an artist tribute to Joshua Tree that, while not useful for making decisions, is every bit as gorgeous as the top. Spin times range from 7-9 minutes in the hands of a seasoned professional.
