Manually machined from solid brass or copper with a quality you’ll only find from J.L. Lawson, the True North Spin Coin hovers somewhere between top, coin and compass. The 1.5″ diameter piece has a nice weight and an absolutely mesmerizing spin, but it’s more functional and even magical than most other options out there with the addition of the compass. Much like a top, it’s not exactly a piece you’re going to be carrying around everyday (even with the built in compass), but it is one fantastic addition to your ever-growing collection of well-made pieces that help you pass the time when you’re on conference calls, waiting for a food delivery, harassing your assistant or just generally pretending to work.
