Developed by Japanese design brand Y, the Y002 Travel Hanger easily fits in your luggage regardless of whether or not you’re traveling with a checked hard bag, carry-on duffel or just a backpack. The innovative hanger is head and shoulders above any of the crappy plastic options you’re used to thanks to its simple but effective leather and wood construction. One leather cord and two pieces of either mahogany or ramin wood can be easily collapsed to fit in a bag, or hung like a tie on a hook for storage. When you’re ready to use the hanger, slide the long piece of wood to the bottom and the shorter piece near the top to create that familiar hanger shape. Using this hanger requires some sort of hook because you won’t be able to hook it on a closet bar, but it’s well worth it in our opinion for a hanger that isn’t a pain to travel with. It doesn’t hurt that it actually looks good, either.
