Late at night, after the taproom is closed and most of the employees have left, the late night crew comes in to tend to the beer Stone is brewing. This overnight brew crew keeps a watchful eye over the fermenting beer and often hears random noises as they do. Those spooky noises led to the idea of a ghost, which led to this beer. Ghost Hammer IPA is an unfiltered beer brewed in honor of Stone’s overnight guest. Clocking in at 6.7% ABV, it packs tropical notes and a lingering bitterness, though not one as aggressive as some other Stone beers. Plus, a tip of the hat to the designer, as this is easily one of the best looking cans Stone has released. You can find this IPA in stores now.
