Reese’s Ultimate Peanut Butter Cups

Reese’s Ultimate Peanut Butter Cups

If we had to pick and choose a single piece of candy to buy for whatever the hell a single piece of candy costs these days, it would probably be a the usual twin-pack of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups because they’re the perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter flavors and crispy and smooth texture. And yet, Hershey’s has decided that–despite the fact that the only contender to the original Peanut Butter Cup, the Reese’s Peanut Butter Egg, is now on shelves in advance of the Easter holiday–they’re going to roll out an entirely new and even more decadent treat in the form of the Reese’s Ultimate Peanut Butter Cup. As we’re sure you have already gleaned from the moniker, this is your traditional Reese’s cup sans chocolate which makes it all peanut butter all the time. While we haven’t yet had the pleasure of gorging ourselves on this sweet treat–they’ll be available available in standard, king size and miniature forms starting this April–we’re optimistic it will be a welcome to addition to the convenience store candy cadre for those of you opposed to chocolate, without messing up the place the classic has in our hearts.
