Coca-Cola Made Light-Up Bottles for the Upcoming ‘Star Wars’ Film

For as long as we can remember, there hasn’t been a Star Wars film released that wasn’t paired with mass consumerism in the form of one product tie-in or another. The upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is no different because they tapped Coca-Cola–a brand that’s no stranger to movie tie-ins like they did with their Avengers: Endgame cans–to create something special for the film. Coca-Cola Singapore pulled out all the stops and created light-up bottles that can be purchased by contestants that solve riddles in order to buy the bottles. Each of the no sugar bottles features either Kylo Ren or Rey with their respective lightsabers that light-up using OLED technology whenever someone grabs the bottle. According to Coke, there will be 8,000 lighted bottles available throughout the promotional hunting period and each bottle will light up hundreds of times. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Coca-Cola light-up bottles are available throughout December in Singapore, and the film has a release date of December 20.
