The Race of Gentlemen Is the Coolest Race You’ve Never Heard Of

The Race of Gentlemen Is the Coolest Race You’ve Never Heard Of

For one day a year, for the last five years, a large swath of beach in Wildwood, New Jersey, is void of beach chairs, umbrellas, and shockingly hairy men in shockingly small bathing suits. In their place (thankfully) are pre-war hot rods, vintage motorcycles, and racers from all over the world decked out in slick, old-school garb. This is The Race of Gentlemen, a race/carnival that celebrates American racing heritage. It is, without question, unlike anything you’ve ever seen. We were granted an up-close look this past weekend so we could bring you right into the heart of the action. Take a look at the coolest race you’ve never seen.
