Menswear brand Todd Snyder has teamed up with Brooklyn-based visual artist Tracy Morgan on a limited-edition collaboration. The Paint Splattered Collection features a number of pieces with unique hand-applied paint splatters. The lineup includes a pair of chinos in khaki or navy, a chambray work shirt, and a stretch denim jacket. A crewneck sweatshirt in navy has sold out already.
“There’s something about paint splattered clothing,” shared Morgan, the collaborating artist. “Everyone just loves the ease of it.” Morgan managed to create the paint-splatter detailing by using a watered-down house paint and picking out colors based on the specific garments. “White looks good on denim,” she said. “Sweatshirts are more about conversations between different colors, and I really like painting on chinos because they remind me of a canvas.”
The entire collection is available now but we expect them to sell out quickly.
