The latest addition to Casio’s popular G-Shock line is the GWG-1000, a watch designed and constructed to resist mud, vibration and a variety of harsh land environments. Dubbed the “Mud Master,” the watch has vibration resistance, buttons protected from the elements, compass bearing readout, barometer and large hour and minute hands for readability and enhanced operability. If that’s not enough to geek out about, you also get shock-resistance, 200-meter water resistance, low-temperature resistance and an altimeter. Technically it’s a watch, but it’s also a full gauge cluster of instruments you can conveniently wear on your wrist.
