The adidas Superstar sneakers have been classics ever since they launched in the 70s. In order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic silhouette, adidas is releasing a brand new version in the adidas Superstar Laceless Sneaker. This version keeps all the OG energy of the hip hop classic and melds it with a fat tongue so you can wear the shoes as slip-ons without laces–or with laces if you really want to. It also keeps the unique rubber shell toebox, contrast three striping and heel logo and the gold adidas logo on the tongue. Now all we need is a new Run-D.M.C. “My Adidas” music video featuring the fresh new kicks. The adidas Super Laceless Sneakers will be available starting on Thursday, February 13th in both black and white colorways with contrasting details.
