While most of us would agree with the sentiment that there’s no such thing as stylish sandals or slippers, if there was any brand that was capable of making it happen, it would be Teva. Whether it’s their combination of multiple materials, eco-friendly attitude, attention-to-detail, or superb detailing, they always produce footwear that’s function foremost with form following in a close second. The Teva Revive ’94 Mid is, on the surface, a pair of mid-cut booties inspired by the Sandal Hiker from the same year. And it’s one of the most influential pieces of footwear the brand has ever released with its iconic crisscrossing straps. Pair that with recycled materials, full-foot coverage, waterproof leather, and mesh construction with rubber throughout and you have the recipe for what is perhaps the greatest pair of Dad shoes ever. The Teva Revive ’94 Mid will be released through Teva and retailers like Mastered on August 2nd for an as-of-yet undisclosed price but we expect it to be around $160 based on previous releases.
