Squarestreet is a Hong Kong-based operation started by two Swedes you might be familiar with: David Ericsson (VOID Watches) and Alexis Holm (gram Footwear). The latest Squarestreet release is one of the first sneaker / brogue hybridizations we’ve seen that we’d actually consider successful. They don’t look like sneakers with brogue detailing, but they also don’t look like dress shoes outfitted exclusively with a different sole. The SQ37 is built out of Italian vegetable tanned leather that’s been wet lasted for superb shape sitting atop an EVA outsole. This slightly more casual dress shoe wears like a sneaker and comes in three colorways (black, blue / beige, yellow / natural).
