Well it’s about f’ing time. Ray-Ban has been making folding Wayfarers for the better part of forever, but that little bit of transformer love finally got applied to everyone’s favorite “hot shot” sunglasses, the Ray-Ban Aviators. Go back through your family photo albums and you can probably find pictures of all your male relatives wearing a pair of Aviators at one point or another. When we finally saved up enough scratch we bought ourselves a pair too. Then we inevitably sat on them, threw them in a bag or lost them. So we picked up another pair. Rinse and repeat before we started buying shitty sunglasses because we were tired of flushing $200 down the drain per pair. That’s all over now. Everything’s easier to travel and/or store when it’s foldable and eight hinged Aviators are no different.
