Jun Takahashi’s Undercover has been collaborating with Nike on seasonal drops and capsule collections for the better part of a decade. Whenever the Swoosh teams up with the avant-garde Japanese menswear brand, the result is always something greater than the sum of its parts. Case in point: the new Nike x Undercover Daybreak Sneakers set to drop this summer. Nylon uppers get combined with suede mudguards and a uniquely flared rear panel that’s reminiscent of the iconic Daybreak sneakers that haven’t been reissued since the 80s. It’s a funky take on a classic that more than lives up to the hype created whenever these two brands work together. The Nike x Undercover Daybreak Sneakers are expected to drop at Nike and Undercover stores starting on June 7th. They’ll be available in seven different colorways ranging from all black with contrasting white details to a green / red / white option.
