Nike has announced that the Hyperadapt 1.0, the first consumer self-lacing sneaker, will go on sale November 28. A bit more stylish than the sneakers Marty McFly tossed on his feet in Back to the Future, the Hyperadapt 1.0 features a “lace engine” hidden in the sole that helps the laces tighten around the user’s foot. The futuristic sneakers will need to be charged about every two weeks and can be adjusted by a pair of buttons embedded in the upper. You will need to make an appointment at a select Nike retailer to try on the Hyperadapt 1.0 sneakers and to purchase them, so stay tuned for more info on that and on pricing.
