Blue Thunder. Maverick. Goose. And now, Air Vengeance. It sounds like a call-sign from an awesomely bad 80s movie, but it’s actually the moniker of Nike’s most recently re-released V Series shoe. The Nike Air Vengeance is the most lightweight and therefore most maneuverable shoe in the bunch. Originally released in 85, the two other styles have gone the way of the dry dock while the Air Vengeance was given a shiny new paint job for 2011. Designed for runners, Air Vengeance is your vehicle of choice when you need to get yourself somewhere quickly and comfortably using only carbs for fuel. The color scheme is fantastic. It’s a Nike shoe so you know its going to be a damn good shoe (even if it isn’t made stateside). For our money though, it all comes down to the name. Now you just have to find a beach to run to for volleyball.
