Back to the Future II promised us a lot of things. Then we waited years and years only to assume we’d never see a hoverboard, a pair of self-lacing sneakers, or the Cubs win the World Series. Well, late last year we saw a working hoverboard, and now we’re going to get those Nike Air MAGs complete with Power Laces (no word on the Cubs). Tinker Hatfield, a Nike designer, confirmed recently that the company is working to have the shoes out this year, and if everything works out with a few battery issues, they’ll be complete with laces that tighten with the push of a button. You’re on deck, Cubbies.
