As much as we hate to admit it because we love camo, there is a thing as too much when it comes to shoes. New Balance decked out the 996 for Spring 2015 with a new “Camo” Pack that has just the right amount of camo. Rather than decking out the entire package in camo, New Balance decided to go a more subtle route by only using camo on the heel support and the lining. The end result is two separate pairs of sneakers that are similar, but different enough that you could own both. One pair focuses on a khaki base with army style heel support camo and autumn style camo lining. The other pair uses a “blue” base with patriotic red, white and blue camo detailing. Both options are made with a suede/mesh combo and also have bright white New Balance Ns and laces for contrast.
