LEFF Tube Watch

If you aren’t familiar with Piet Hein Eek, just know that people in the Netherlands go a bit nuts for his furniture. His designs, which often feature scrap wood and metal, push boundaries while remaining accessible to the average person. Here he’s teamed up with LEFF, an Amsterdam-based clock maker, to craft a watch that has the same unique appeal. The focal point of the Tube Watch is the extruded ring, which gives the timepiece a refined yet industrial character, not unlike Piet Hein Eek’s tables and chairs. The minimal face allows the ring to stay front and center.
