Worn by George Lazenby during his one turn as Bond, James Bond in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service in the late 60s, this Rolex is unique for a number of reasons. Obviously, it’s a Rolex that was worn, in a movie, by James Bond—it might not have been Connery’s Bond, but it’s Bond nonetheless. This is also a Pre-Daytona Ref. 6238 that features a unique red second hand that was modified specifically at the request of Eon Productions for the film. For a watch that’s close to five decades old and filled with this kind of heritage, it’s remarkable that it also also happens to be in great shape. But this kind of piece also fetches a pretty penny on the auction block, and last time it was sold (in 2003) it went for over $40k. Expect the price this time to be significantly higher.
