If you had asked us if we were slipper people a year ago, the response would have been a resounding “no.” You come home from work, take your shoes off, kick back and relax in your socks. Why does anyone need slippers or house shoes outside of when they’re traveling? And then COVID happened. These days, putting on slippers or house shoes is one of the highlights of our day because it reinjects some normalcy to our lives while still being as comfy as no footwear at all. That’s where the Deckers Lab KO-Z Mule Slippers come in. With a designed based on classic slip-on, open-back clogs that have re-worked in almost every important way, these shoes are so comfy you’ll never want to take them off. They’re built with a combination of supple soft premium Twinface Sheepskin and suede leather–with a stretch panel–for easy of entry and a foothold secured with wooden toggles. Pair that maximum comfiness with 5mm of looped wool atop 5 layers of foam underfoot and it’s easy to imagine the comfort level we previously described. We’re not going to say we’ll never put on sneakers again, but these slippers feel way more like heaven than any other pair of kicks.
