Patagonia Invented a Silent down Jacket

We’ve been in love with Patagonia ever since we first tried on one of their jackets. This was long before we knew about their incredible work perks, Patagonia Provisions beer, and head honcho Yvon Chouinard’s commitment to leave the world a better place than he found it. Patagonia has once again put their money where their mouth is when it comes to apparel innovation by creating a new line of silent down products that are some of the best fall jackets we’ve seen in a while. The new Patagonia Silent Down comes in both a shirt and a jacket that are made with 100% recycled 700-fill down that’s housed in a 70% recycled outer fabric. Once you factor in all the different colorways, there are a total of nine different options split across the shirt and the jacket styles. They’re all great. They’re everything we’ve all come to know and love about the brand, but even better, each one is soft, stretchy and, most importantly, quiet. That’s right, the appropriately named Silent Down eliminates all the ridiculous swish-swish-swish-swish noises you’re used to when you’re wearing down.
