There are plenty of Android Wear smartwatches on the market, but Casio has truly set itself apart with its first smart release by creating a watch that’s specifically geared towards the outdoors. The Smart Outdoor Watch is built to military standard MIL-STD-810G spec for shock, vibration, and water resistance, but the rugged watch is also chock-full of smart features you won’t find together in any other watch. Inside the black, orange, green or red case you’ll find everything from an air pressure and altitude sensor to a magnetic compass and magnetometer. As battery life is going to be at a premium when you’re tracking sunset times and tide graphs in the wilderness, the Smart Outdoor Watch also packs a dual-layer display that allows you to switch to a more traditional monochrome watch display (without the gadgets) that significantly improves battery life.
