Beastie Boys Teamed up with Adidas for a ‘Paul’s Boutique’ Anniversary Sneaker

It’s been a big year of anniversaries for the Beastie Boys. To the 5 Boroughs turned 15. Ill Communication turned 25. And Paul’s Boutique turned thirty today. They’ve been celebrating all the anniversaries with everything from audiobooks, deluxe re-releases, new EPs and now, with the release of a limited edition pair of adidas Americana sneakers. One look at these kicks is all it takes to realize they’re quintessential Beastie Boys. Canvas upper that’s a mix of stylish white with gray accents and three stripes (that’s also vegan!), sits atop a classic gum sole and is finished with exclusive Beastie Boys branding (Eric Haze’s iconic band logo). A portion of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to PEACE sisters and Little Kids Rock. The run is limited to only 500 pairs, so you better head out to the Beyond The Streets exhibition or one of the select skate shops in the US quickly (or find a proxy) if you want to cop a pair.
