For their second Kickstarter watch project, CJR watches decided to tackle a regulator with the AIRSPEED. If you’re not familiar with regulator watches, they tell the time using separate dials for hours, minutes and seconds. It’s a bit more difficult to read when you’re not used to it, but it improves the accuracy and looks fantastic. AIRSPEED doesn’t stop at just being an affordable regulator, because it also features a domed Hesalite crystal that extends all the way to the edge to create an elegant design that also doubles as slight dial magnification. On the inside, you’ll find the workhorse Miyota 8219 automatic, 21 jewel movement with a 45-hr power reserve. The Pilot version is decked out in a formal style black, while the Vintage version has that tan and brown patina feel. All AIRSPEED models are available with leather and nylon strap options, and every order includes a nylon NATO strap gratis.
