Aevig Corvid Rethinks The Classic Quartz Field Watch

It’s not too much of a stretch to assume that you probably already own a field watch with a NATO strap. The fact that they all generally clock in around $100 and have been produced by just about every watch manufacturer and major design house on the market makes them pretty common. But the new Corvid Quartz Field Watch from Aevig out of the Netherlands brings a different look to your wrist. There are no 24-hour markings. There is no date indicator. The crown has been moved to 9 instead of 3. The face comes in tan, green and black. It’s powered by a Ronda 703 Quartz movement, so it’ll get up to 6 years of battery life. Put all these things together and you have an affordable, good-looking watch that you never have to take off.
