It doesn’t matter if there’s a bottle opener, lighter and sixteen different screwdrivers attached to it, keyrings are still kind of a pain in the ass. The solution is another of those “why in the hell didn’t I think of that” inventions. It’s called BladeKey. Designed to minimize discomfort, jingling and disorganization, BladeKey uses pieces of aluminum and your set of stacked keys to put all your keys in one easy to use three, six or nine key size. It comes in black or gold anodized or raw aluminum, but does not include a bottle opener. Surprisingly enough, we’re totally cool with the fact that it won’t open bottles when it works out of the box with lots of different types of keys. Just in case that isn’t enough, they’re also making an open source tool template available so you can design your own bottle openers, screwdrivers and lock picks.
